The Gramercy Theatre was built in 1937 as the Streamline Moderne Gramercy Park Theatre, a movie house that ran films for roughly sixty years before becoming a concert venue.
The room keeps a rarity among midsize NYC venues — general-admission standing up front and actual seating toward the back and loge — so where you stand or sit changes the show a lot.
Nothing on Ticketmaster for this venue right now — check back closer to a date.
