The read Bronx Little Italy in short

Bronx Little Italy on Arthur Avenue is known for authentic Italian food and culture. The Arthur Avenue Retail Market opened October 29, 1940 under Mayor LaGuardia to move pushcart vendors indoors, and still runs today as a co-op of Italian butchers, bakers, and specialty grocers in the Belmont section. Some storefronts predate the market itself — Borgatti's Ravioli & Egg Noodles has been cutting pasta on East 187th Street since 1935 — and each September the neighborhood throws Ferragosto, an Italian harvest-season street festival along Arthur Avenue.
