The read St. George in short

St. George is Staten Island's main hub, home to the Staten Island Ferry terminal, the harborfront ballpark now named SIUH Community Park — Richmond County Bank Ballpark until a 2022 renaming — and the National Lighthouse Museum. The ferry is the neighborhood's defining institution: fare-free since 1997, it runs around the clock and crosses 5.2 miles of harbor to Lower Manhattan in about 25 minutes, passing the Statue of Liberty on the way. The renovated ballpark beside the terminal hosts the Atlantic League's Staten Island FerryHawks, and the borough's civic buildings climb the slope behind the waterfront.
